APPOINTMENT and APPLICATION:
Powder aluminum pigmentary is produced in accordance with GOST 5494 - 95 two brands: PAP - 1 and PAP - 2. It is applied as multipurpose aluminum pigments - as a part of reflecting, corrosion and protective, heat - resistant, decorative and other paints, enamels, varnishes and fillings; for production of cellular concrete, etc.
Aluminum particles in powder have the lamellar form and are covered with a thin oxidic and fatty film. Powder represents the easily smeared product of silver - gray color which is not containing alien impurity visible with the naked eye. The bulk density of powder makes about 0,15 - 0,30 g/cm3, the content of active aluminum - 85 - 93% . Average thickness of petals makes about 0,25 - 0,50 microns, and the average linear size of 20 - 30 microns. The bulk density of powder, content of active aluminum and the average size of particles are not regulated.
